Selling Your Home During Winter

Selling Your Home During Winter

Thinking of putting your home on the market?  Here are a few tips that will improve the marketability of your home during the winter months.

Make it cozy - the holidays and winter months are a great time to create a warm and inviting space inside your home.  Hang an evergreen wreath on the door and throw a blanket on the back of an armchair.

Turn the focus to the fireplace - you don't have to light the fire, but make it the space look ready for glowing embers.

Turn on the lights - Daylight Savings Time has hit, so it gets darker earlier.  Turn on every light in the house, open the blinds and drapes.
Finally, turn up the heat - it's getting colder outside, so adjust the thermostat to a warmer temperature.

Set the stage to sell your home this winter!

Happy Holidays!
