I recently posted a poll on Facebook about what items do you wish you had with you on moving day. You know, those things that no one tells you that you will need to bring along on that already busy, stressful, chaotic day. Do you remember your first move? What would you like to have on-hand? Wish your friends and family had told you about? Or better yet, have them show up bearing?
There is nothing like packing up your old, or arriving at your new home and realizing that you need to run to the store to grab one more, okay, two more...or maybe a whole cart full of things that you are not prepared with.
The most popular items on our poll were:
Sharpies / markers
Paper towels / plates / toilet paper
Color coded stickers
Soap (for hands and dishes)
General household cleanser
New toilet seats
New doorknobs/locks for all exterior doors
Bottled water / drinks
Easy to grab snacks
Vacuum cleaner / broom / mop
Nice bottle of wine (or two, or a case...whatever...)
Things to keep the kids entertained (games, coloring books, toys)
Food storage containers
What would you add to the list?

""Kristina was an excellent realtor, She worked tirelessly to make sure that any and all questions were answered quickly and that I was always fully aware of what was taking place during the process. I would definitely recommend her to anyone I knew that was looking to buy or sell a home."
