Construction continues on the Exxon-Mobil campus being built near I-45 and 2920. After all of the reading that I’ve done it's really mind-boggling to even begin to comprehend what the 385-acre campus will actually look like, once it's completed.
The campus was planned and designed by New Haven architect Pickard Chilton, with a local firm PDR and the Houston office of Gensler Hargreaves Associates created the landscape plan.
The campus will offer a 27,000-sq.-ft. child care center that is scheduled to open in late 2014. The child care center will take care of kids from 6 weeks through pre-K. The campus will also offer a 100,000-sq.-ft.wellness center with locker rooms that will have several different fitness classes offered including pilates, yoga, a spin studio, cardio and strength-training equipment.
I just recently read where they are considering what hotel chain will be the first on property, I'm sure every hotel chain around will be trying to get in on that deal.
We were just recenty told about a neighborhood that will be develped near the campus called Springwoods Village, it will consist of 51 luxury homes, 90 mid-range priced homes and 399 multi-family units in the first phase.
