The Dos and Don’ts of a successful loan process
DO provide all the requested information and documents quicklyand accurately to your Loan Officer or his/her processor.
DO keep good records of all your transactions for your loan; callyour Loan Officer if you will be receiving any monetary gifts.
DO stay with your current employer. If you are planning onmaking a job change, discuss this with your Loan Officer! Jobhistory is an important aspect of your loan application.
DO stay in touch with your Loan Officer to discuss any questions you haveconcerning your loan.
DO keep your spending in check. Keep all debts current and makepayments on time.
DON’T delay getting information to your Loan officer. It will only cause delaysin your closing.
DON’T place untraceable funds in to your bank account. Keeprecord of all income and deposits.
DON’T worry if a few days go by with out hearing from your Loan Officer. That’s a good thing… Itmeans your loan is going well and we have all the information weneed.
DON’T apply for any new debt until you close. After closing,enjoy shopping for new furniture.
DON’T apply for any additional credit checks.
