The Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival is a family-friendly event in historic downtown Conroe. The event features non-stop live music with local, regional and national performers on two stages, food vendors offering festival and Cajun favorites, arts & crafts vendors, a professional carnival, assorted community and educational exhibits, an annual Catfish Pageant and a KidZone area with activities for children and a special performance stage featuring local dance teams, community groups and entertainers. The Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival is a cultural program of the Friends of Conroe, Inc., a non-profit community organization dedicated to furthering the common welfare and well-being of the city of Conroe, Texas. The group sponsors and produces the festival each year.

The Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival is held the 2nd weekend in October of each year. The 2017 festival takes place:
Friday, October 13 from 6pm ’til midnight
Saturday, October 14 from 11am ’til midnight
Sunday, October 15 from 12pm ’til 6pm
Festival Ticket Information & Discounts
Tickets are available online and at the entry gates throughout the duration of the festival.Admission for children 12 and under is free! Bring two or more canned goods to any of the entry gates to receive $1.00 off any single day ticket to the festival. All donations of canned goods will benefit the Montgomery County Food Bank.
Carnival Ticket Information
Carnival Admittance is Free on Thursday. Armbands or tickets for carnival rides can be purchased on site.
