Today's Market in the Houston and surrounding area's are what realtors call a sellers market. What does this mean? It means that there are more buyers than inventory. Does this mean that a buyer can not get a good deal? The answer is, a buyer can still get a good deal on real estate if he is educated about the area he is looking in. When a property comes on the market a buyer must move quickly. This is not the time to try to negotiate on a property. If you the buyer likes the property then offer the asking price and have your agent get the sellers to sign off on the contract. You still have your option period to change your mind or do inspections and then renegotiate the sales price.
